2018 Administrative Improvement Awards
The UW-Madison campus community celebrated the winners of the university’s 2018 Administrative Improvement Awards at a May 29 ceremony at Union South. Chancellor Rebecca Blank and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Laurent Heller presented the awards to one individual and three teams for their excellence in administrative roles supporting academics, research, student services, outreach or administration.
Chancellor Blank said all of the award winners took processes that were cumbersome and inefficient and transformed them in ways that save time and money and also improve customer service. “That’s important – both to conserve our resources, and to demonstrate that we are effective stewards of this great public institution,” she said.
Administrative Improvement Awards recognize outstanding work at UW-Madison in process redesign/development or customer service/delivery that resulted in improved efficiency, increased revenue channels, cost savings or improved service delivery. The awards may go to individuals or teams.
Chancellor Blank and Vice Chancellor Heller extended their congratulations to all 2018 nominees for the award.
