RSP Program Release timetable announced
The long-awaited conversion of many of the campus administrative systems, including the Research and Sponsored Program systems ESIS and PALS, will begin on Friday, February 8 at noon. This will affect nearly everyone on campus in some way or another. Please be aware of the following:
- Proposals will still be submitted, agreement negotiations, and subaward
preparation will continue, but you will not be able to track them after
Feb. 13
- Jan. 31 is the last day that RSP will process Requests for Account
Numbers in Advance
- Feb. 6 is the latest date that RSP will make budget adds to existing
gift accounts - Feb. 13 is when PALS entry will stop. You will still be able to see historical information after this date, but nothing later than Feb. 13
- WISDM, like PALS, will be available during conversion but will contain only historical data. For WISDM, the data will be frozen as of Feb. 8
- Normal payment processing of subaward invoices will NOT be available
- Checks will continue to be deposited during the conversion period
- RSP will be in intensive training from Jan. 28-Feb. 25. Response time will be slow. If your question or need can wait a couple of weeks, please do so.
- The PeopleSoft Grants Module and the new routing system, WISPER, will
be available on Feb. 25.
